The Carson LL-55 is a stand magnifier with 4.5x magnification and a 75 mm lens. A stand magnifier is a universal magnifier with glass side panels that allows plenty of light to fall on the subject.
The magnifier has double acrylic lenses with a diameter of 75 mm. In contrast to glass lenses, acrylic is lighter in weight and has a higher scratch resistance. The lower side wall is made of transparent glass so that plenty of (day)light falls on the object and you can observe objects easily. The round shape allows you to place the magnifying glass over the subject so that you can see even the smallest details and easily hold the object in position.
